Luke A. was born on March 31st, 1888 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Luke A.'s father was Francis Marion Logan and his mother was Olivia H. Thomas. His paternal grandparents were Bloomfield Logan and Milley Hutto; his maternal grandparents were Carney C. Thomas and Elizabeth F. Ammons. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Murl T., Rayborn Hood, Gracie Y., Ressie Flora and Eunice L.. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 70 on November 9th, 1958 in Coosa Co., AL. He was buried in Liberty Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Coosa Co., AL..1 1 General Notes
