William Arthur Jordan 
William Arthur was born in December 1879 in MS.1 William Arthur's father was Turner Eldridge Jordan and his mother was Amanda Cosper. His paternal grandparents were Felix Jordan and Sarah C. Champion. He had a brother and a sister, named James Felix and Susan. He was the youngest of the three children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Sorter Eli, Elmore Yancey and Georgia Ann. He died at the age of 80 on November 11th, 1960 in Nowata, Nowata Co., OK.1 General Notes

Grandpa Jordan gave the family Bible to Patsy Parilee, daughter, in 1960
before his death.

recorded. Then another girl between Woodrow and Berta. That may have
been Dorothy, she died only a few days after birth.
Patsy had told her daughter, Virgie, about another girl who had died.
Aunt Doak said that there was no other child other than Dorothy that died.
Grandpa Jordan was a little Cherokee, and had always said we were Black
Dutch Irish and Indian.
Black Dutch is really German.
