Thomas E. was born on June 2nd, 1802 in VA.1 Thomas E.'s father was Jonas Jordan and his mother was Elizabeth Elmore. His paternal grandparents were Jonas Jordan and Winefred Maurice; his maternal grandparents were Archelas Elmore and Susannah Morris. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Reuben Elmore, Felix, Archclaus Elmore, Frances, Martha and Mary. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 51 on January 2nd, 1854 in Lowndes Co., AL. He was buried in Rocky Mount Cemetery, Crenshaw Co., AL.1 1 General Notes
