Martha Jordan 
Martha was born in 1794 in SC.1 Martha's father was Jonas Jordan and her mother was Elizabeth Elmore. Her paternal grandparents were Jonas Jordan and Winefred Maurice; her maternal grandparents were Archelas Elmore and Susannah Morris. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Reuben Elmore, Felix, Thomas E., Archclaus Elmore, Frances and Mary. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 57 in 1851 in Lowndes Co., AL.1 General Notes
