Archclaus Elmore Jordan 
Archclaus Elmore was born in 1804 in Laurens Co., SC.1 Archclaus Elmore's father was Jonas Jordan and his mother was Elizabeth Elmore. His paternal grandparents were Jonas Jordan and Winefred Maurice; his maternal grandparents were Archelas Elmore and Susannah Morris. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Reuben Elmore, Felix, Thomas E., Frances, Martha and Mary. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 50 on January 2nd, 1854 in AL.1 -
