Young Jacks 
Young was born on August 28th, 1828 in Clarke Co., GA.1 Young's father was John Jacks and his mother was Jane Maxey. His paternal grandparents were William Greenberry Jacks and Delilah Young; his maternal grandparents were Hail Maxey and Dicey Craighead. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Cass Anderson, Sam, Greenbury Hale, Issac Marion, John A., Doctor Franklin, Lucy Ann, Mary Ann, Delila Jane, Sarah Elvira, Emily Frances and Martha Karen Paralee. He was the seventh oldest of the thirteen children. He had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named James Monore, Archibald E., Margaret, Alabama, Alice Blanche and Melissa Eugenia. He died at the age of 85 on May 2nd, 1914 in Village, Columbia Co., AR. He was buried in Ebenezer Cemetery, Village, Columbia Co., AR.1 1 General Notes
