Her paternal grandparents were John Sheridan Garrett and Rebecca Jane Fowler; her maternal grandparents were Hiram Bush and Sarah Bush. She had eight brothers and three sisters, named Prescott, John, William Henry, J. Walter, Thomas Leroy, Daniel Lafayette, Wiley Jackson, Hiram Thornton, Sarah, Mary Nancy and Rebecca. She was the youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 87 on March 4th, 1987 in Crestview, Okaloosa County, Florida. She was buried in Antioch Cemetery, Okaloosa, Florida.1 1 -
