Martha Jane Garrett 
Martha Jane was born on January 5th, 1889.1 Martha Jane's father was Thomas Jefferson Garrett and her mother was Martha Addsline Henderson. Her paternal grandparents were William Walter Garrett and Nancy Sansom; her maternal grandparents were William E. Henderson and Mary Jane Wilkinson. She had ten brothers and three sisters, named James W., Jeremiah Thomas, John M., Malcom B., Eli Richard, Daniel J., Alford Matthew, Hiram Wiley, Jefferson Monroe, Reuben Ell, Mary Elizabeth, Francis Adline and Carlie Mahalie. She was the fifth youngest of the fourteen children. She died at the age of 83 on July 5th, 1972 in Baker, Walton County, Florida.1 -
