Leroy J. Garrett 
Leroy J. was born on March 31st, 1925 in Okaloosa County, Florida.1 Leroy J.'s father was Thomas Leroy Garrett and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Chestnut. His paternal grandparents were William Thorton Garrett and Sarah Elizabeth Bush. He had four brothers and three sisters, named James L., Baby Boy, William Huel, Cecil T., Altha M., Etha and Ethel. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 46 on December 23rd, 1971 in Okaloosa County, Florida. He was buried in Antioch Cemetery, Okaloosa, Florida.1 1 -
