Charles Calvin Garrett 
Charles Calvin was born on July 11th, 1927.1 Charles Calvin's father was John Street Garrett and his mother was Dora Jane Ray. His paternal grandparents were James Monroe Garrett and Mary Elizabeth Haynes; his maternal grandmother was Nancy C. Ray. He had six brothers and two sisters, named John Leamon, Laney Monroe, Lonie D., Willie Leon, J. D., Clarence Bervie, Clara Mae and Katie Lou. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 57 on January 30th, 1985. He was buried in Friendship Baptist Cemetery, Deuniak Springs, Walton County, Florida.1 1 -
