Her maternal grandparents were Clayton Louis Pinkerton Webster Spradley and Josephine J. Brock. She had two brothers named Lewis Wilhoit and William Carey. She was the oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 72 in 1979 in Baltimore, MD.1 -
