Margaret was born in 1834 in AL.1 Margaret's father was William Parson Evans and her mother was Elizabeth Ann McEwen. Her paternal grandparents were John Evans and Elizabeth McCurry; her maternal grandparents were Robert Bort McEwen and Rachel Hawkins. She had fourteen brothers and a sister, named Alexander Thomas, John Murroe, James Kirkham, William Henry, Robert, Greenbury Garrett, John, Hiram Martin, Isaac, Asbury, Wesley, Mathew Jones, Matthew Jones, Joseph M. and Elizabeth. She was the fifth oldest of the sixteen children. She died in ?.1 -
