Greenbury Garrett was born on August 8th, 1837 in AL.1 Greenbury Garrett's father was William Parson Evans and his mother was Elizabeth Ann McEwen. His paternal grandparents were John Evans and Elizabeth McCurry; his maternal grandparents were Robert Bort McEwen and Rachel Hawkins. He had thirteen brothers and two sisters, named Alexander Thomas, John Murroe, James Kirkham, William Henry, Robert, John, Hiram Martin, Isaac, Asbury, Wesley, Mathew Jones, Matthew Jones, Joseph M., Margaret and Elizabeth. He was the seventh oldest of the sixteen children. He died at the age of 74 in 1911 in ?.1 -
