Wilma Geraldine was born on April 15th, 1915 in Laurel Hill, Walton County, Florida.1 Wilma Geraldine's father was William Jason Davis and her mother was Cornelia Augusta Cutts. Her paternal grandparents were James Monroe Davis and Sarah Caroline Steele. She had three brothers and a sister, named Leon Eugene, Edward, Clinton and Ina Ma. She was the second oldest of the five children. She had five half-brothers and a half-sister, named Clarence, Harley Lance, Albert Clanton, Ellis Lowell, Floyd Devoe and Benrice.-
