His paternal grandparents were Asa Oliver Culver and Nancy Jane Pody; his maternal grandparents were Zabed Green and Susan A. (?). He had five brothers and six sisters, named John Austin, Zabed Andrew, George Crockett, Geames Alfred, Dudley Oliver, Amanda Alice, Roxie Ann, Cordy Deloney, Mary Emma, Theola and Nancy Beatrice. He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 84 on October 8th, 1963 in AL. He was buried in Flint Hill Methodist Church Cemetery, Coosa Co., AL.1 1 -
