Dudley Oliver was born on April 30th, 1891 in Travlers Rest, Coosa Co., AL.1 Dudley Oliver's father was Perry Dudley Culver and his mother was Mary Martha Green. His paternal grandparents were Asa Oliver Culver and Nancy Jane Pody; his maternal grandparents were Zabed Green and Susan A. (?). He had five brothers and six sisters, named John Austin, Zabed Andrew, George Crockett, William Henry, Geames Alfred, Amanda Alice, Roxie Ann, Cordy Deloney, Mary Emma, Theola and Nancy Beatrice. He was the second youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 80 on November 11th, 1971 in Coosa Co., AL. He was buried in Mount Moriah Baptist Church, Coosa Co., AL.1 1 General Notes
