Ruby May was born on July 4th, 1893 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Ruby May's father was Nathan Andrew Culver and her mother was Susan Jane Bridges. Her paternal grandparents were Asa Oliver Culver and Nancy Jane Pody; her maternal grandparents were William Bridges and Delila Jane Jacks. She had ten brothers and four sisters, named Alvin Perry, Andrew Franklin, Asa Leroy, William G., Edward D., Isom Edward, Lesslie N., Ira L., Ernest Hanes N., Homer N., Mary Eck, Mary Jane, Emma Beulah and Lula A.. She was the third youngest of the fifteen children. She died at the age of 97 on April 26th, 1991 in AL. She was buried in Thelma Baptist Cemetery in Wallsboro, Elmore Co., AL.
