Edward D. Culver

Edward D. was born on November 11th, 1885 in Coosa Co., AL.¹ Edward D.'s father was Nathan Andrew Culver and his mother was Susan Jane Bridges. His paternal grandparents were Asa Oliver Culver and Nancy Jane Pody; his maternal grandparents were William Bridges and Delila Jane Jacks. He had nine brothers and five sisters, named Alvin Perry, Andrew Franklin, Asa Leroy, William G., Isom Edward, Lesslie N., Ira L., Ernest Hanes N., Homer N., Mary Eck, Mary Jane, Emma Beulah, Lula A. and Ruby May. He was the eighth oldest of the fifteen children. He died at the age of 69 on April 6th, 1955 in AL. He was buried in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Located in Stewartville Community about 2 miles off US Hwy 231 in northern part of the Coosa Co., AL.¹¹
