Andrew Franklin was born on March 18th, 1874 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Andrew Franklin's father was Nathan Andrew Culver and his mother was Susan Jane Bridges. His paternal grandparents were Asa Oliver Culver and Nancy Jane Pody; his maternal grandparents were William Bridges and Delila Jane Jacks. He had nine brothers and five sisters, named Alvin Perry, Asa Leroy, William G., Edward D., Isom Edward, Lesslie N., Ira L., Ernest Hanes N., Homer N., Mary Eck, Mary Jane, Emma Beulah, Lula A. and Ruby May. 18(19), 1874 and died on June 10, 1950: Married Susan Missouri Bates on
May 24, 1899. Susan, born on October 6, 1883 (6) and died December 4,
1918, was the daughter of Marion and Mary Holley Bates, Whose other
children were: John, Ocie, Etta and Sally. Andrew Franklin Culver is
buried with his second wife, Medie, in the Stewartville Church of God
Cemetery, Stewartville, Coosa Co., AL. His daughter Evie and her husband
are also buried in this cemetery. Andrew Franklin's first wife is buried
in an abandoned church cemetery (Old Union Church) just outside Rockford,
Alabama in Coosa County. Grave location is unknown and unmarked. Andrew
Franklin married for the second time to Almeda Robinson About 1919.
