Althie Caroline was born on June 5th, 1852 in Lowndes Co., AL.1 Althie Caroline's father was Benjamin Franklin Castellaw and her mother was Mary Louisa Jordan. Her paternal grandparents were John Bryant Castellow and Amy Hill McClendon; her maternal grandparents were Felix Jordan and Sarah C. Champion. She had four brothers and five sisters, named James Monroe, Jonas Archilas, John Doson, Felix Jordan, Sarah Ann, Malissa Jane, Mary Frances, Martha Elizabeth and Avarilla Cathrine. 1860 Census. One family recored has her listed. Where this record came
