Mattie Della Bell

Mattie Della was born on May 24th, 1892.¹ Mattie Della's father was David Franklin Bell and her mother was Mattie Easter Avent. Her maternal grandparents were Joseph Carson Avent and Mary Elizabeth Douglas. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Fletcher Talmadge, Recho Avent, Ruel Bascom, Addie Leigh, Minnie Ethel, Hatti Stella and Annie Lou. She was the second youngest of the eight children.
