Silas Douglas 
Silas was born on March 2nd, 1798 in Granville County, North Carolina.1 Silas' father was Abel Douglas and his mother was Martha ??. He had a brother and a sister, named Nathan and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 78 on March 25th, 1876 in Escambia County, Alabama.1
