Archibald McLendon Douglas

Archibald McLendon was born on May 9th, 1834.¹   Archibald McLendon's father was Silas Douglas and his mother was Mary Harrington.  His paternal grandparents were Abel Douglas and Martha ??; his maternal grandparents were Sion Harrington and Ann Dalrymple. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Abel, John H., James, Silas William, Nathan, Rabon, Sion Brock, Charles Bryant, Martha Anne, Mary Elizabeth and Sarah M..  He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 77 on March 14th, 1912.¹ 

‌Archibald McLendon and Catherine were married in a religious ceremony on February 3rd, 1861.²   They had two daughters named M. Elizabeth and Sarah Emeline.

They had two sons and two daughters, named Otie A., Archibald Marvin, Lillian Amnez and Mary Cassandra.
