Stephen Barfield 
Stephen was born on April 1st, 1760 in Sampson Co., NC.1 Stephen's father was Jesse Francis Barfield and his mother was Sarah Castellaw. His paternal grandfather was Richard Barfield; his maternal grandparents were James, Sr. Castellaw and Sarah Williams. He had five brothers and a sister, named Frederick, Solomon, Lewis, John, Thomas and Carity. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 58 on February 20th, 1819 in Spencer's Creek, Williamson Co., TN.1 -
