Frederick Barfield 
Frederick was born on November 29th, 1757 in Sampson Co., NC.1 Frederick's father was Jesse Francis Barfield and his mother was Sarah Castellaw. His paternal grandfather was Richard Barfield; his maternal grandparents were James, Sr. Castellaw and Sarah Williams. He had five brothers and a sister, named Stephen, Solomon, Lewis, John, Thomas and Carity. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 70 on November 21st, 1828 in Madison Co., TN.1 -
