Isabel was born about 1307. Isabel's father was Sir Maurice de Berkeley Lord Berkeley and her mother was Eva la Zouche. Her paternal grandparents were Sir Thomas de Berkeley Lord Berkeley and Joan de Ferrers; her maternal grandparents were Eudes la Zouche and Millicent de Cantelou. She had two brothers and a sister, named Thomas de Berkeley the Rich, Sir Maurice and Millicent "Ela". She died on July 25th, 1362.General Notes
