Eudes was born in 1249 in of Haryngworth, Northamptonshire. Eudes' father was Sir Alan la Zouche Lord Zouche of Ashby and his mother was Helen (Elena) de Quincy. His paternal grandparents were Roger la Zouche Sheriff of Devonshire and Margaret (la Zouche); his maternal grandparents were Roger de Quincy Earl of Winchester and Helen MacDonald de Galloway. He had a sister named Margery. He died at the age of 30 in 1279.General Notes
