Eva was born in 1220 in Bramber Castle, Bramber, Sussex, England. Eva's father was William "Black Will" de Braose Lord Brecknock and her mother was Eva Marshal. Her paternal grandparents were Reginald Baron de , Lord Abergavenny Braose and Grace Briwere. She had a brother and five sisters, named Peter, Isabela, Maud, Eleanor, Ela and Joan. She had two half-brothers named Sir Roger and Sir William. She died before July 28th, 1255.General Notes
