Renaud (Rognvald) de Vermandois de was born in 0922 in Rheims, Marne, France.  Renaud (Rognvald) de Vermandois de's father was Comte Herbert II VERMANDOIS and his mother was Hildebrante (Liegarde) of NUESTRIA.  His paternal grandparents were Count Herbert I De VERMANDOIS and Beatrice de MORVOIS; his maternal grandparents were King Robert I FRANKS and Queen of France Beatrice of VERMANDOIS. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Robert de, Albert I the Pious De, Sprota Adela of, Alix (Adela) av, Luitgarde de and Gerberge.  He was the second youngest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 50 on March 12th, 0972.
