Adelheid of Lorraine

Adelheid of was born about 0962 in Ardenne, France.  Adelheid of's father was Godfrey de Verdun , Marquis Antwerp/, Marquis Antwerp and her mother was MAHAUD BILLUNG SAXONY COUNTESS FLANDER.  Her maternal grandparents were Hermann Billung Duke of Saxony and Hildegardis de westerburg. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Hermann Count of, Gozelon I Duke of Lower, Frederick de, Godefroi III, Duc de, Adelheid of, Regilla Ermentrude, Regilla de, Gerberge of and Ermentrude de.  She was the second oldest of the ten children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Jean de, Arnold II Count of and BERTHA.
