Arnold II Count of was born in December 0961 in FLANDERS, FRANCE. Arnold II Count of's father was Baudouin III Count of Flanders and his mother was MAHAUD BILLUNG SAXONY COUNTESS FLANDER. His paternal grandparents were ARNULF 1 LE GRAND FLANDERS COUNT ARTOIS and Alix de Vermandois; his maternal grandparents were Hermann Billung Duke of Saxony and Hildegardis de westerburg. He had a brother and a sister, named Jean de and BERTHA. He was the second oldest of the three children. He had four half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Hermann Count of, Gozelon I Duke of Lower, Frederick de, Godefroi III, Duc de, Adelheid of, Adelheid of, Regilla Ermentrude, Regilla de, Gerberge of and Ermentrude de. He died at the age of 25 on March 30th, 0987 in Chapel de St Laurent, France. He was buried in Ghent, Gelderland, Belgium.General Notes
