Eva was born in 1220 in Bramber Castle, Bramber, Sussex, England.  Eva's father was William IV The Younger De Braose Lord Bramber and her mother was Eve Marshall.  Her paternal grandparents were William III 5Th Baron De Braose Lord Bramber and Maud (Matilda) De St. Valery [Lady Of Lahaie]; her maternal grandparents were 3rd Earl Of Pembroke William "The Protector" Marshall 3rd Earl Of Pembroke and [Countess Of Pembroke Isabel De Clare [Countess Of Pembroke. She had three sisters named Maud De, Isabella De and Eleanor De.  She was the oldest of the four children.  She died before July 28th, 1255.

‌Eva and William De were married in a religious ceremony on July 25th, 1238.  They had three sons and four daughters, named John, George, Thomas, Juliane, Joan De, Millicent De and George De.
