William IV The Younger De was born about 1175 in Of Bramber, Sussex, England & Gower, Wales.  William IV The Younger De's father was William III 5Th Baron De Braose Lord Bramber and his mother was Maud (Matilda) De St. Valery [Lady Of Lahaie].  His paternal grandparents were William II De Braose 1st Baron Of Gwentland and Bertha De Pitres Heiress Of Brecon/Hereford; his maternal grandparents were Bernard IV De St. Valery and Eleanor De Domnart. He had twelve brothers and seven sisters, named Roger De, Robert De, Thomas De, Giles De, Walter De, Reginald De, Hugh De, Henry De, Bernard De, Fulk De, Phlilp De, John De, Flandrina De, Matilda De, Joan De, Laurette De, Margaret De, Leuca De and Eleanor De.  He was the eighth oldest of the twenty children.  He died in 1210 in Corfe, Windsor, England.  He was buried in By Starvation, Walled Up In Corfe Castle Ordered By King John.
