Elisha (Lish) was born on July 5th, 1858 in Conway Co, AR. Elisha (Lish)'s father was Owen West and his mother was Jane Jennie McClure. His paternal grandparents were John William West and Elizabeth Frazier. He had six brothers and a sister, named James McDaniel (Mack), John H. (Jack), Samuel Claud. (Sam), William Willey (Wile), Elijah A. (Lige), Ephriam Miles (Eph) and Etna. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 82 on August 14th, 1940.General Notes
