Unknown was born in May 1880. Unknown's father was Elisha (Lish) West and his/her mother was Eugena Laws. His/her paternal grandparents were Owen West and Jane Jennie McClure; his/her maternal grandparents were Stephen Laws and Nancy Unknown. He/she had five brothers and five sisters, named Dan, Ollin L., Alvin, Ervin, Nova Lee, Isofene, Daisy, Elsie, Nance and Emma Jean. He/she was the second oldest of the eleven children.-
