John William West 
John William was born in 1788 in Bladen Co, NC. John William's father was Thomas West and his mother was Lucy Hall ***. His paternal grandparents were Thomas West and Catherine Rebecca Easting. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named Richard C., Jesse, Charles H., Nancy, Mary Mollie, Jeptha, Milly, Caty, Sarah Sallie and Susannah. He was the youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 82 in 1870 in Christian Co, KY.-
