Noal E. was born on December 12th, 1815 in NC. Noal E.'s father was John William West and his mother was Elizabeth Frazier. His paternal grandparents were Thomas West and Lucy Hall ***; his maternal grandparents were Thomas N. Frazier and Elizabeth Fowler. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Owen, Ollin, Daniel, Thomas J., Phillip Herington, John W., George Harrison, Sarah Jane, Elizabeth, Martha Ellen and Jeanette. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 68 on November 11th, 1884.-
