Christopher Philhower

Christopher was born in October 1754 in Mountainville, Hunterdon, NJ.  Christopher's father was Philip Philhower and his mother was Anna Maria Margaretha "Mary" Muller.  His paternal grandfather was Jurg Philip Wulhauer. He had three brothers and five sisters, named John, William, Peter, Elizabeth, Anna Catherine, Mary (Polly), Charity Anna Gertrude and Catherine Ann.  He was the second oldest of the nine children.
