Charity Anna Gertrude Philhower

Charity Anna Gertrude was born on June 5th, 1775 in Tewsbury, Hunterdon, NJ.  Charity Anna Gertrude's father was Philip Philhower and her mother was Anna Maria Margaretha "Mary" Muller.  Her paternal grandfather was Jurg Philip Wulhauer. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Christopher, John, William, Peter, Elizabeth, Anna Catherine, Mary (Polly) and Catherine Ann.  She was the second youngest of the nine children.
