Carrie Estel was born on September 27th, 1883. Carrie Estel's father was Andrew Seawright Jackson Burton and her mother was Julia Margaret Virginia Dixon. Her paternal grandparents were James Davis Burton and Sarah Emaline Seawright. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Austin Ludie, Royal Clayton, Urbane Hermes, William Samuel, Jesse Caro, Claudius Albert, Hattie Raymond, Burkie Irene, Ella Josephine and Myrtle Davis. She was the fourth oldest of the eleven children.-
