Claudius Albert was born on June 2nd, 1900. Claudius Albert's father was Andrew Seawright Jackson Burton and his mother was Julia Margaret Virginia Dixon. His paternal grandparents were James Davis Burton and Sarah Emaline Seawright. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Austin Ludie, Royal Clayton, Urbane Hermes, William Samuel, Jesse Caro, Hattie Raymond, Carrie Estel, Burkie Irene, Ella Josephine and Myrtle Davis. He was the youngest of the eleven children.-
