James Davis Burton 
James Davis was born on May 30th, 1831. James Davis' father was Blackman Burton and his mother was Jinsey Yancy "Jinny" Saxon. His paternal grandparents were Henry Burton and Anne Elam; his maternal grandparents were Hugh Saxon and Mary Langdon. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Peyton Thompson, Allen, Henry J., Ausburn, Blackman L., German Francis, Lucinda, Louisa Marion , Adeline, Adeline Mary and Jane Wallace. He was the youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 64 on May 8th, 1896.-
