Amelia Nicholson 
Amelia was born in 1770 in North Carolina. Amelia's father was William Nicholson and her mother was Lucy Gassaway. Her maternal grandparents were Nicholas Gassaway and Elizabeth Hawkins. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Daniel, Gassaway, John, Joseph, William, Lucy and Mary. She died at the age of 40 in 1810 in Davidson County, North Carolina.General Notes
