Martin was born in 1770 in North Carolina.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 64 in 1834 in Davidson County, North Carolina.  He was buried in 1824 in Shiloah Methodist, Davidson, North Carolina, USA.

Martin's first family with Amelia Nicholson

‌Martin and Amelia were married in a religious ceremony on April 6th, 1795 in Rowan County, North Carolina.1   They had five sons named Joseph C., John  A., Levi, Daniel and Martin.


Martin's second family

‌Martin were married in a religious ceremony on August 11th, 1811 in Rowan County, North Carolina.3
