William Rice Nance 
William Rice was born on October 27th, 1842 in Athens, TN. William Rice's father was Leonard Claborne Nance and his mother was Mary Jane Tipton. His paternal grandparents were Peter Nance and Mary Emmeline Pryor; his maternal grandparents were Abraham Butler Tipton and Martha Denton. He had a brother named James Blanton. He was the older of the two children. He died due to Accident at the age of 65 on March 12th, 1908 in Guymon, OK. He was buried in Elmhurst Cem., Guymon, OK.General Notes
