Richard Nance 
Richard was born in 1700 in Richmond, Henrico, VA. Richard's father was John Nance and his mother was Sarah Gookings (Sawkins). His paternal grandparents were Richard (Rychard) Nance and Alice; his maternal grandparents were John Sawkins and Jane. He was an only child. He died at the age of 80 in 1780 in Bedford, VA.-
