James Lee Nance 
James Lee was born on August 27th, 1872 in Benton, AR. James Lee's father was William Rice Nance and his mother was Elizabeth Frances Williams. His paternal grandparents were Leonard Claborne Nance and Mary Jane Tipton; his maternal grandparents were Isaac Williams and Cynthia Elender Spratling. He had four brothers named Leonard Claborne, William Pierce, Helgmon and Nancy Nealy. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 70 on October 8th, 1942.-
