Peter was born in 1775 in Bedford, VA. Peter's father was Thomas Nance and his mother was Sarah Gibbs. His paternal grandparents were Richard Nance and Mary; his maternal grandfather was Peter Gibbs. He was an only child. He died after 1860.-
