Abraham Butler was born in 1780 in Baltimore, MD. Abraham Butler's father was Colonel Col John Tipton. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Tipton and Elizabeth Edwards. He had six brothers named Jacob, male, male, male, male and male. He died at the age of 30 in 1810.-
