Marmaduke Mitchell 
Marmaduke was born about 1824 in Newton Co, Ga. Marmaduke's father was Joseph Man Mitchell and her mother was Sarah. Her paternal grandparents were John Mitchell and Cosbie Workman. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Mitchell, Mitchell, Mitchell, Joseph Sanford, Mitchell and Sarah. She was the third oldest of the seven children.General Notes
